Liberia’s airport visa needs advance preparation
Liberia calls this a Visa on Arrival, but travelers must apply online before flying, wait for approval, then collect a visa sticker and complete biometrics at Roberts International Airport (ROB). LIS recommends applying at least 7 days before departure. Approval permits entry within 3 months; that is not the length of the stay. Travelers with a Liberian embassy in their country must apply at the embassy instead.
Official guidanceCheck consent arrangements for children
Children under 16 must travel with a parent or an authorized person. Where a child is unaccompanied, prepare parental or guardian consent approved by the competent authority.
Official guidanceThe airport officer sets the visa validity
For the airport Visa on Arrival, LIS says the officer sets the visa validity at 30 or 90 days based on the estimated visit. The portal does not promise either period; follow the dates on the visa issued. This product-specific term is separate from the 3-month window for entering after approval.
