Apply for any stay extension before your permission expires

You must hold a valid PIP when applying and submit the PTP request at least five working days before it expires. An application is not an approval, and Migración Colombia may refuse it. The initial tourism PIP is granted for up to 90 days; a tourism PTP can add up to 90 days, but all PIP/PTP time together is capped at 180 calendar days in the same calendar year.
