Fee information
The Ministry's current applicant FAQ does not state a fee amount. Confirm the amount and whether payment is required for your application before paying. The Ministry lists +1 242 323 5578 and [email protected] for enquiries.

Check whether these rules affect your eligibility, application, or arrival.
Final permission is decided at the border
Meeting the visitor entry criteria does not guarantee admission. The Bahamas Department of Immigration says officers assess each traveler at the border and may refuse permission to land.
Official guidance [2]Apply before your permission to land expires
A visitor extension is discretionary and requires an in-person interview. The Immigration Department lists a non-refundable $200 processing fee, a return ticket or temporary cruising permit, valid passport, local address, landing card, reason for the request and an applicable visa among the application requirements. The fee does not guarantee approval.
