A tourist stay may be extended
Argentina allows a tourist permission of up to three months to be extended for another similar period. Apply through the National Directorate of Migration or a local migration office within the final 10 days before your current permission expires. An expired stay cannot be extended, and the extension procedure has a fee.
Official guidance [3]Confirm health-insurance proof before departure
Argentina’s English Embassy guide says foreign visitors must present proof of health insurance at entry. A separate Embassy page says the new entry declaration that includes this statement is not currently being requested while implementation remains unregulated. Carry travel medical cover and confirm what your airline and the Argentine consulate responsible for your passport currently require.
