Turkish visa eligibility depends on Egyptian origin
Egypt's Ministry of Interior lists Turkish travelers who are not of Egyptian origin as eligible for a visa on arrival. Turkish travelers of Egyptian origin must obtain a visa before travel. If this condition may apply to you, confirm your route and any proof required with an Egyptian mission before booking; the Ministry's public list does not explain how it defines or verifies origin.
A short South Sinai-only trip may use a free entry permit
Egypt's Tourism Authority says travelers arriving directly at Sharm al-Sheikh, Nuweiba or Taba may receive a free entry-permit stamp for a stay of up to 15 days in South Sinai, including Dahab. A visa is needed if you stay longer or travel beyond the permitted area. Confirm that your route and passport qualify before departure.
