Apply for your eVisa
Prepare your documents, submit your application, and check your approval before travel.
Prepare your application
Apply through evisa.td before travel. Since 11 May 2026, new ordinary visa applications must use this portal; a submitted application is not approval.
Submit through the official channel
Use Chad official eVisa. Check the current instructions and total government charges before paying.
Review the decision before departure
Check the passport details, dates and entry conditions on the permission you receive.
Travel preparation checklist
Check each item’s requirement level and the conditions that apply.
Your circumstances may require additional documents. Ticks track preparation, not eligibility or admission.
Entry conditions and exceptions
Check whether these rules affect your eligibility, application, or arrival.
Carry your yellow-fever vaccination record
The Chad eVisa portal tells travelers to bring yellow-fever vaccination proof for an immigration check on arrival. Ask a travel-health professional about medical suitability and any certificate exemption.
Official guidanceBefore and during your visit to Chad
Choose the application window
The immigration portal recommends applying at least seven days before entry and does not accept applications more than 90 days ahead. Allow extra time for review and travel planning.
Check every entry before paying
An issued eVisa cannot be amended and the application payment is nonrefundable. Check passport details and trip dates before submission.
Ask immigration about extending a stay
If your eVisa expires during your stay, contact Chad’s Immigration and Emigration Directorate about extension before it expires. An extension is not automatic.
