Visa additional information : The visa is valid for medical staff who accompany Indian travelers to India. There is no seal / signature of the issuing authority on the Indian visa sticker. If a valid passport with the same nationality is attached, the valid visa sticker and evisa stamp in the expired passport can be accepted. If a valid passport with the same nationality is attached, a valid evisas (Electronic Travel Authorization ETA) issued for an expired passport will be accepted. Visas can be extended, with the exception of T (tourist) visas and transit visas. India does not allow dual nationality for Indian nationals. Indian nationals with dual nationality must contact the embassy / high commissioner for more information. Tourists must obtain permits when visiting protected areas.

Visa issuer : Evisas can be obtained before departure. Passengers must use their return ticket for the first time to return / transfer, must have: a passport, at least 2 unused visa pages on the passport, and a printed confirmation of electronic travel authorization (ETA). The immigration officer will stamp the validity of the visa and the number of entries allowed on the visa in the passport.

Information about minors : Passengers younger than 18 years who reside in France and depart from France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French West Indies, Martinique, Mayotte, Reunion, St. Barthelemy, St. Martin, St. Pierre and Miquelon or Wallis and Futuna Isl. not accompanied by a parent/legal guardian must have: an exit authorization form obtained at and signed by a parent/legal guardian, and a copy of the identity document of the parent/guardian. WARNING! In accordance with European Union (EU) Legislation, all minors who are nationals of France and depart from Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Romania or a Schengen Member State must have their own travel document that meets the entry requirements of their destination.
Warnings: Passengers of Pakistani origin (those born in Pakistan or whose parents or grandparents were born in Pakistan) with a multiple entry Tourist Visa (type T), with a validity ranging from above 3 months and up to 10 years, are required to have at least 60 days between visits. Effective from 31 March 2020, passengers with a Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) Card will not be allowed to enter. They must change their PIO status to Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) status before 31 March 2020. Passengers with an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card younger than 20 years must have both passports when the passport number in the OCI card does not match the one in the valid passport. Passengers with an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card 50 years or older must have both passports when the passport number in the OCI card does not match the one in the valid passport.
